VOLUNTEER 2025 OTTAWA RIVER FLOOD

With water levels already high and northern waters still to come West Carleton Residents will once again be spending this weekend sandbagging their homes. Neighbours and other volunteers are encouraged to head to the nearest sandbag filling station and assist will filling bags. Fill half way/Tie at the top

VOLUNTEER WITH WCDR

Volunteering for West Carleton Disaster Relief is a great way to help those in need and make a difference in your own community. It will give you an opportunity to experience something new and potentially life-changing while gaining meaningful experience, as well as meeting and connecting with people from all walks of life. It’s such a rewarding experience knowing that your work is helping those who have been impacted by a disaster.

 

COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS

WCDR is looking to set up Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) in all of the West Carleton Communities. This will allow for quick response times in your community. 

We will be providing training and equipment for both CERT leaders and team members.
